Dave Levingston has a long history of
photographing the human female form in a natural and studio environment.
Nearly all of Dave work is available in either framed and unframed form. Prices vary by size and other requirements requested by the purchaser. Note: Print dimensions shown above are the overall dimensions of the print. On prints 11" by 14" or larger there will be 1" of white border on all four sides of the image... thus the image size on an 11" by 14" print will be at or near 9" by 12". All prints will be signed by the artist in the white border area. Prints are not mounted, except as described in "framed prints" below.
Framed Prints
Dave normally prefers to frame his prints with a Nielsen matte black metal frame (the profiles will be shown below). The Gallery, on the other hand, very much likes to frame Dave's prints in Nielsen, Style 17, Neon colored frames... you have the choice. The image of the Gallery's partial wall of Dave's photographs, shown below, demonstrates the differences. Each of Dave's framed images will be covered with a single windowed white made from Crescent or Bainbridge conservation or museum-grade matboard. The photograph will be mounted on Bainbridge ArtCare acid-free foamboard with archival corners from which the image may be removed without harm at a future time. You have the option of either Tru Vue Acrylite art acrylic glazing or Tru Vue Conservation Clear Glass... we recommend the Acrylite for safety in shipping. However, if you prefer the Conservation Clear glass the framed print will be shipped with the glass removed and packaged separately and will require your assembly after receipt. All needed materials will be furnished. Handling and shipping cost will vary slightly as a result of more or less materials needing to be used and handled. Shipping and handling costs are not included in the price of either the un-framed or framed print.
