The Gallery is extremely pleased to have been given the opportunity to offer the exceptional art of Greg Olsen.  Greg says it best...

"From an early age I have always been fascinated by paintings that create mood, emotion and atmosphere; especially those paintings that lift and transport me to to some far off place. These ae the elements I strive to create in my paintings. In many ways my paintings reflect what is most important to me... my feelings and experiences with family and friends, along with the spirituality in my life. My hope is that in these images you will find something familiar, something which resonates and reminds us of what is important in our lives."

Greg Olsen was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho and grew up in the nearby farming community of Iona. Greg is the eldest of five children, He was blessed with supportive parents who encouraged him - and provided opportunities - to pursue his passion for art.  Greg recalls a time in his life when he hired to paint a large sign in support of a local grocery store. The time was winter and it was extremely cold, and much too cold to paint in the garage... after a great deal of consternation, his parents allowed him to paint the sign in his room.  Much to everyone's dismay, Greg spilled two quart of paint - one black and one orange - on the bedroom carpet. And, in spite of this event, his parents never once discouraged his artistic leanings.

   After high school, Greg attended Utah State University where he majored in art. While there Greg met and later married his wife, Sydnie Cazier.  Greg and Sydnie have six children and a hand full of grandchildren. Greg enjoys being close to his family and that is probably why his studio is only thirty-seven steps from the back door of his home.

   Greg's art is offered as limited edition prints on paper, limited edition giclee prints on canvas, and, in some cases, as open edition prints (primarily on paper). The limited edition prints on canvas come in a variety of sizes,,, standard, museum, and, at least in one case, cathedral sizing.  We haven't tried to list all editions... for instance if a print also comes as an artist proof we will, most likely, list only the non-Artist Proof edition.  AAA and AARP discounts are applicable to these prints.  The Price List is at the bottom the gallery page below.
