I have long thought of photography as an equalitarian art. With such forms of artistic expression as drawing, painting and sculpture, one must be gifted with the physical dexterity of hand to excel. Of course, in addition, one needs to have an artistic vision to match.  With photography it is all about vision. The camera, gives us what Henri Cartier-Bresson called "instant drawing", making us equally dexterous of hand. Even those who cannot draw a straight line have a chance at artistry. The camera is a powerful artistic instrument, how it is used to create art is for each individual to determine.

If photographers were to be divided into two groups, those who depicts the world as it is, rather than to depict it as they  would like it to be. I fall into the second grouping, with a camera I am empowered - not to change the world - but to create my own world on film and photographic paper.

My art has two parts, one female figurative and the other as part of my travels... both are presented here for your artistic pleasure.
