Somerset House Fine Art

   At the beginning we promised to keep this site simple and user-friendly, and so we hope to do this through our presentation of the artists and publishing house of one of our primary resources for fine art giclees and prints (prints made by special printers onto canvas and prints made onto high quality paper).  Somerset House is based out of Fulshear, Texas and expectedly is a major resource for Western, Christian and Patriotic art... if you were to ask me to locate and recommend art in these categories, this site and its artists are one of the first places I would look.

   That said, let me make note that Somerset is a provider of fine art prints to galleries and brokerages such as the Steele Pointe Art Gallery and Art Brokerage and does not sell directly to the public.  The prices you will see on their website are the retail prices jointly set by the publishing house and the artist.  The Gallery buys these works at wholesale pricing, and is expected - on the newer releases - to honor these prices and to maintain consistency in pricing throughout the art field... our gallery honors that expectation.  On older pieces the Gallery has some flexibility, but if the artist's works are popular AND if they are "Sold Out" at the publishing house, you can expect the price of the print to rise, and in some cases, dramatically !... the lesson to be learned here is to let the Gallery know of your interest so that we can keep you informed, and to order your artist's giclee or print early (and in some cases the works can be even pre-ordered).

   Somerset House Fine Art has many very talented artists and my plan is to highlight probably about half of my favorites, you will need to spin off of our site here - by the provided hyperlink - and see the rest.  Some of the prints will be marked as "sold out", however, if that piece is still something that you would like to purchase, let us know... often times we are able to locate the print within the secondary market. (Note... in many cases I've listed only the signed and numbered giclee on canvas, however there many be other options which are currently unavailable from the publishing house.)
