Collectors Editions Artists

   Collectors Editions is an art publishing house located on the West Coast in Canoga, California (I looked this up just a minute ago... that's northwest of Los Angeles and southeast of Simi Valley... in case you were curious). Not wanting to build too much into its location... Collectors Editions is a publisher of Contemporary and Traditional fine art, with the emphasis probably on West Coast-style "contemporary".  Currently they are the home for sixteen very accomplished artist collections... including one of my all time traditional favorites, Peter Ellenshaw (1913-2007)... one of the finest landscape and seascape artists I have ever seen (www.ellenshaw.com). The contemporary art spans to range of characterizations, figurative, and landscapes... they are very beautiful, and very modern... and, very West Coast-ish.

   For the most part (and I really haven't found an exception) all fine art works from the Collectors Edition come as giclée canvases (some embellished by the artist)... some are listed as "chiarographs"... you'll need to go to the glossary for an explanation of this process.  Their prices tend to range from the upper-hundreds to midway between 1-2K... which seems very reasonable.
